Charities supported by Dangerous Dave Everett
Tribal Refugee Welfare
Tribal Refugee Welfare was first established in April 1986 by my good friends the Allmarks to assist Karen and other refugees fleeing the fighting in Burma. Refugee camps on the Thai–Burma border are overflowing with displaced people and they have little or no help from the Thai government and international NGOs. Tribal Refugee Welfare gives assistance to these people by providing donations to refugee-support groups who work daily with these people and who are best able to put the funding where it is most needed. TRW also sponsors and assists refugees from these areas to resettle in Australia. TRW are a tireless voluntary group of individuals who work long hours to raise funds for and assist severely traumatised victims of the conflict in Burma. Their only reward is seeing the joy they bring to people who have known nothing in their lives but conflict, horror, oppression and sadness. It is a charity worthy of your donations.

The Special Air Service Resources Trust Fund
This fund was established in 1996 after two Australian Army Blackhawk helicopters collided, killing fifteen SAS soldiers and three Fifth Aviation Regiment members. It is a perpetual trust that provides assistance to current and former members of the Special Air Service Regiment who are either killed or permanently disabled carrying out their duties with the Regiment. It is a worthwhile trust run by volunteers with a genuine interest in helping others. It acts on behalf of the Australian public to supplement often inadequate government support measures and provides piece of mind to those serving in the SASR that they and their families will be looked after adequately should misfortune befall them.
